There’s something about a new season in life.
First day of school. First date with the future love of your life. Or maybe stepping into a brand new career or calling for your life.
I think one of the beautiful thing about “firsts” or new seasons of life, is that they carry hope and anticipation that something good is going to happen for us.
Here’s a wonderful news flash for you: with God, every day is new.
Every. Single. Day.
The bible makes an incredible promise that God’s mercy and favor are “new every morning.” (Lamentations 3:22-23)
In both the good and trying seasons of my life, this life-altering reality has been amazing for me to lean on.
It gives me the courage and grace to wake up and let today be the first day of a beautiful life. Honestly, without this reality, I don’t think I would have made it.
But today…is a brand-new day.
