I LOVE GOD’S WORD!
Every battle I’ve won, mountain I’ve climbed and obstacle I’ve overcome has happened for one reason…
The Word of God.
Sometimes the concept of “scripture” or “bible” can be intimidating, but I want to simplify it for you.
Take these scriptures, and confess the scripture out loud, AND CHOOSE to believe that the truth of scripture is more powerful than whatever negative reality or emotion you may be experiencing.
Even if you don’t feel it at first…God’s truth is greater than the issue you are facing.
When you believe this, it’s when mountains (your issues) move, and situations change for the better!
Believing for His truth to set you free! With that in mind, here are some of my favorites in a couple of key areas that we all battle:
SCRIPTURES FOR OVERCOMING FEAR:
“So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.” – Isaiah 41:10
“When I am afraid, I put my trust in you.” – Psalm 56:3
“There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love.” – 1 John 4:18
“Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be terrified; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.” – Joshua 1:9
“The Lord is my light and my salvation—whom shall I fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life—of whom shall I be afraid?” – Psalm 27:1
SCRIPTURES FOR OVERCOMING ANXIETY
“Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” – Philippians 4:6-7
“Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.” – Matthew 6:34
“Cast your cares on the Lord and he will sustain you; he will never let the righteous fall.” – Psalm 55:22
“When anxiety was great within me, your consolation brought joy to my soul.” – Psalm 94:19
“Peace is what I leave with you; it is my own peace that I give you. I do not give it as the world does. Do not be worried and upset; do not be afraid.” – John 14:27
Just remember: the enemy loves to use “his words” against you, so open your mouth and boldly use God’s Word to declare and walk out the victory the Lord has for you!
