A lot of us live in the “somedays” of life. I know that I once spent a good majority of my time there.
It’s safe.
Free of commitment.
Free of disappointment and the embarrassment of failure.
When I was married to my first husband, I knew that our marriage was destined for failure. I knew he was unfaithful to me and put me in situations that a husband should never put his wife in.
I kept telling myself that “someday” our marriage was going to change. I’m not saying that God couldn’t bring healing or hope to a marriage, but in my situation, my husband did not want to change.
You may have your own “someday” deep within your heart. Maybe your “someday” is to lose weight, to start writing, to reconnect with a family member or old friend.
Choosing to change your “someday” to “today” can be scary.
There is risk involved because we can’t guarantee how it will turn out. However, I have come to find that there is beauty in the risk.
The risk is where we open ourselves up for God to meet us and bring us to the next level.
We weren’t created for someday. We were created for today.
So, what are you going to do with today?
The choice is yours…

After a long year of sickness, & not moving my body much, I’m going to go for a walk. That’s a stretch for me as I have developed bad habits during my sickness & put on weight that isn’t healthy for me.
