The purpose of the cellular analysis is to uncover any abnormalities, imbalances or defects in your body on a cellular level. Dr. Hilu can see the behavior of your cells which is a different point of view than normal lab results. Abnormal behavior for a long period of time without being addressed has the potential to provoke serious illnesses.

Dr. Hilu tries to discover by means of the analysis all the possible irregularities and imbalances in a patient’s blood and then proceeds to design a custom-built protocol to try to help correct as many defects as possible. 

The cellular analysis kit includes:

• 2 thick glass slides
• 1 coverslip (thin slide)
• 2 lancets (one extra)
• 1 gauze pad
• Printed instructions
• Health history form
• Explicit consent form

Apart from the supplies and information needed to perform the test, the cost of the cellular analysis kit also includes your results, recommendations and treatment plan. 

Each kit costs $450.00 USD which includes everything that comes with the kit, the analysis, full results, recommendations and treatment plan. A shipping fee is added during checkout for international orders (outside of the U.S.).

The shipping expense to send your completed kit to Spain is NOT included in the initial cost of the cellular analysis kit. It depends on where you live, but roughly it seems that the cost is about $65-120 to send via international priority. 

It is a simple prick of the finger test, done in the comfort of your own home.

You do not need to stop taking any supplements or medications prior to performing the test.  You also do not need to fast or make any changes to your diet. You can perform the test whenever it is most convenient for you. 

The type of lancets included with our kits can change depending on availability. Here are the instructions on how to use the lancet with the thin purple cap:

1. Remove the cap by first twisting it and then pulling it off. (The thin purple piece.)
2. Place the end where you removed the cap on the pad of your finger.
3. While on the pad of your finger, push down on the big purple button on the opposite end to release the needle and prick your finger.

Please note: This is a one-time use lancet. Once you push down on the big purple button and release the needle, it will not release again.

If a package is not handled properly while in transit, unfortunately, glass slides can crack or break due to their fragility. In the rare case you receive a cracked coverslip (thin slide), if at least half is still intact you can still use it since only one drop of blood needs to go between that thin slide and one of the thick slides. Dr. Hilu will not have a problem analyzing your sample but we recommend being careful not to cut yourself since it is glass.

The explicit consent form is required by Dr. Hilu’s clinic according to a data protection law that was recently passed in Spain. Spain has strict data protection and HIPAA laws and they require an identification number for all patients. In Spain, everyone receives an ID card that includes an identification number (TIN). In the U.S., if you do not have a TIN, that would be your SSN. 

While completing the First Visit form or Follow Up form, if you do not know the answer to any of the listed questions, you can skip them or write “I don’t know”. 

All domestic orders (within the US) are sent via USPS First Class Mail which typically take around 2-5 business days to be delivered, unless there are delays out of our control.

International orders (outside of the US) are shipped either via USPS Priority Mail Express or FedEx International Priority Express which typically take around 2-5 business days to be delivered, unless there are delays out of our control. 

You will receive a confirmation email when your kit is shipped that includes your tracking information. If you do not receive this email, we recommend checking your spam folder.

Our secure card processing system does not accept most medical cards. If your HSA card is not accepted, you can try to get the cost reimbursed if it is considered a qualified medical expense, but it would need to be purchased initially with a debit or credit card connected to a regular account.

We are unable to offer discounts on the cellular analysis kits since Dr. Hilu’s clinic has a set rate for performing the analysis.

Blood has a short shelf life. Expediting it ensures that Dr. Hilu will receive it in time to perform the analysis prior to expiration.

Yes. You can send multiple kits together and save money on shipping. Please make sure to write the correct name on the outside of every kit, very clearly to avoid any confusion.

Once a cellular analysis kit is purchased and shipped it is NOT reusable and CANNOT be sent back, no exceptions. If you purchased a kit and it has not been shipped yet, you can cancel the order and get a refund for the price of the kit minus a $15.00 Processing Fee.  

Dr. Hilu’s office is very diligent in evaluating and responding with your results. Due to the current demand, it takes approximately two weeks to receive your results via email from the day the clinic receives your kit.

We recommend keeping an eye on your spam folder as well as your inbox to make sure your results do not get lost.

Dr. Hilu’s clinic does not send confirmation emails when they receive kits. You will receive a tracking number when shipping your completed kit that you can keep an eye on. It should state your package’s current status and when it is delivered.

Your test results will be sent via email through a password protected file. You will provide your preferred email address on the health history form included with your kit.

In some cases, because of the intensity of what Dr. Hilu finds, he will encourage some patients to receive treatment at his clinic in Spain but this is not for everyone.

Your blood changes about every 4 months in response to your environment, diet, stress, travel etc. so following up with Dr. Hilu is important. When he will need to see your blood again will depend on his findings and what your protocol plan will be. You will not need to follow up sooner than 4 months and we have seen situations where a follow up is not recommended until 4, 6, 8 or even 12 months later.

Following up is a very important part of the process since it is how Dr. Hilu tracks your progress and updates your protocol.

Your follow up cellular analysis results will include the percentage of improvement in the areas listed in your first results as well as any new findings that need to be addressed. You will then receive an updated protocol/treatment plan.
